Our department’s mission statement demonstrates our commitment to supporting the goals of the University’s Strategic Plan: “To enhance the liberal arts educational experience for students, faculty and staff by improving the diversity and social sustainability of our campus community.” We aspire to help UNC Asheville become the employer of choice within the higher education community.

We will accomplish our mission by developing and implementing programs and services that assist all members of the campus community in accomplishing theirs.
