UNC Asheville uses an online job posting and application system for all faculty and staff positions. The system allows you to:

Employment Eligibility:
Employees must be eligible to work in the United States and at UNC Asheville prior to the start of employment. In general, UNC Asheville does not sponsor nor coordinate work visas for staff employees.

Jobs requiring an employee to work three days or less (temporary assignment): Department conducts search and selects temporary candidate. A “Temporary Employment Authorization” (TEA) form approved by the fund manager is submitted to Human Resources no less than five working (5) days before the employee starts work in order to complete the mandatory background check.
Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR):
The UNC Asheville Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) is available to all prospective and current employees and students. A requirement of the Jeanne Clery Act, the ASFSR provides you, and our community, with important information regarding campus security and personal safety, including crime and fire statistics for the three (3) previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UNC Asheville, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.
