W-4/NC-4 Forms are to be completed and turn in for processing.
Complete Direct Deposit Form
The University requires that you turn in a voided check or an signed offical bank form for direct deposit of your salary.
Complete Federal Form I-9
All U.S. employers are responsible for completion and retention of Form I-9 – Employment Eligibility Verification for each individual hired for employment in the United States, including citizens and non-citizens. As part of the University’s employment process, you are required to complete a Federal Form I-9 to establish your eligibility to work in the United States.
Following acceptance of an offer of employment, you will receive information about how to complete your Form I-9 and the acceptable documents that may be presented to demonstrate identification and eligibility to work. All employees must present the original documents; photocopies cannot be accepted. For your convenience, the University utilizes a web-based system to complete your Form I-9. You will need to create an account with Dynamic Forms to access the form.
New Employee Orientation
The orientation provides a comprehensive two-day onboarding overview of the programs, services, policies and benefits offered by the University. SHRA and EHRA Non-Faulty employees must attend a Welcome to UNCA Employee Orientation session before beginning work. Typically, orientation sessions are held at the beginning of each month for employees new to regular positions.
Parking
For your convenience, Visitor Parking is available in front of Phillips Hall, Lot 18 on the campus map.
Once you are hired and have your computer login credentials, please register your vehicle here.
Computer/Email Access
Human Resources will introduce all new employees to OnePort, a web portal providing access to first-time email password creation and changes, employee leave reports, Web-Time Entry of timesheets, and tax forms.
