I am writing to remind you that, effective April 1st, all non-essential personnel activity has been temporarily suspended.
In order to follow this UNC System requirement and to be fiscally prudent, UNC Asheville continues to pause hiring and non-essential salary actions for the time being. This pause applies to all types of positions at UNC Asheville, including student employees, temporary employees and permanent employees, regardless of funding source. Any exception to this must be vetted through your Senior Staff member prior to being sent to Human Resources.
