Tuition Waiver Benefits
The Tuition Waiver Program provides an opportunity for eligible faculty and staff to have tuition waived for up to 3 courses taken at any of the constituent institutions of The University of North Carolina system. Participation is voluntary and courses may be taken for career development or for personal interest.
For courses taken at UNC Asheville, fees are also waived. The fee waiver only applies to regular student fees (i.e., does not apply to the orientation fee, the late registration fee, special program fees, or course-specific fees, which must be paid by the student when applicable).
The deadline for classes taken at UNC Asheville in the Spring 2021 is Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Note: The form must be approved by the Office of Human Resources, even if the reimbursement is funded through departmental funds.
